Thanks to everyone for submitting your widgets. The competition has now moved into its second phase where three judges from each of eight Vodafone countries will select the top three widgets submitted from their country.* The very best entry from each country will receive €25,000, with the second and third best receiving €15,000 and €10,000. These 24 widgets will be announced on 29th April 2010. As we’ve been inundated with entries we’ve had to move the dates out a little.
The winning entries from each country (eight widgets in total) will be voted for by the public - anyone can vote for the widget of their choice. Voting will close on 21st May 2010.
The widget with the second highest number of votes wins an additional €25,000, but the most popular widget will win an amazing €75,000, taking total winnings to €100,000! We’ll be announcing these winners during May.
Once you have submitted your entry we need to QA it before we can judge it. If we find any issues we’ll let you know straight away and give you the opportunity to address. Otherwise, you’ll hear from us after the first phase of the contest closes.
The competition will run again later in the year, with the same prize money on offer all over again!
